At Iceland Holidays consumer privacy is very important to us.  We will never sell, share or give away any of your personal information.  Furthermore, we only collect exactly what we need and no more. 

Our Website

Our website collects your information in two ways:

1.  Via the forms on the Quick Enquiry and Quote Request pages.  You are entirely in charge of what information you give us.  You are also responsible for ensuring that other members of your party are aware of the content of our Privacy Policy.  We will update your information whenever we can to keep it accurate. 

2.  As you browse our website, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in.  Our display advertising partner, AdRoll, then enables us to present you with retargeting advertising on other sites based on your previous interaction with us.  The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address or telephone number.  You can visit http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ to opt out of AdRoll and their partners’ targeted advertising.  You can also set your browser to refuse cookies. 

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregate data on how many ‘hits’ we have on our website for marketing purposes.  This does not collect any personal information that can identify you.  It collects and shows in aggregate form only anonymous data such as the date and time you visited the site, the number of pages visited and duration. 

Our website may contain links to other sites not under our control.  It is your responsibility to check the status of these sites

Our Business

In order to provide you with an Iceland holiday we may disclose your information to businesses in Iceland for reasons such as providing a service, fraud and crime prevention and dispute resolution. 

Our Newsletter

We will keep your name and email address to send you our newsletter if you leave the box ticked on the Quick Quote page.  Send an email with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject to unsubscribe from this at any time to info@icelandholidays.com.  We will then delete your email address from our system. 

Data Protection Act

We operate at all times under the Data Protection Act 1984.  You have the right to request details of all the information we hold on you under this Act.  This is called making a Data Subject Access Request under the Act. 

Changes to this policy

All changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on the website.
